He builds AI governance programs against the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001 and the EU AI Act, and tells a company whether an AI system is feasible, compliant and safe to run before it commits budget.
A federal program brought him in to rescue a stalled Salesforce build. He advised that the technology was wrong for the program's scope and budget, and the build was cancelled.
HUMAN-IN-COMMAND
Every AI system I govern has a named person with the authority to override its output and stop it. That person has the access, the training, and the standing to do it without asking permission. The EU AI Act requires this for high-risk systems (Article 14). I build the programs that put that person in place and produce the records an auditor asks for.

Customer Success Engagement builds a prospect list from your criteria: the kind of organization you sell to and the territory you choose.
It finds each organization, checks it against that organization's own website or an official record, and saves a link to the page behind every fact.
It ranks the list by who to call first and gives the reason for each ranking. Nothing reaches a prospect until I approve it.
The demo follows one of them from the first search to the top of the call list.
The Newsletter
David writes a Substack newsletter on AI governance from the operator's side. The Risk File takes one governance decision or legal clause at a time. Where the experience comes from
I've spent about 30 + years building and running the systems customers deal with directly: cloud platforms, contact centers and AI platforms. Much of that work was for companies that regulators watch closely.
My work now falls into 4 areas: putting AI into production, including Salesforce Agentforce; running SAFe programs and portfolios; moving contact centers to the cloud; and running the program office for a merger integration.
